Great Battery but not as pictured

Appears to be a good battery, I put it in an 84 CJ7 as the starter battery and it has plenty of power to switch the motor over. The only real downfall for me is it does NOT have 2 sets of top post terminals as shown in the picture, it has 1 set of top post terminals and 1 set of side post terminals. Packing was well done with a heavy cardboard box and packing material and was not overkill nor wasteful.

Product Pictured is not what I received

I got an Exide battery that has the same label, same basic information – but has only a single pair of posts – that are in the middle of the right and left sides respectively. This does 3 things for me -

1. Unable to use my current battery mount to hold the battery in place since strap goes accross the middle.
2. I planned to clean up my accessories wired to the battery with extra terminals but it’s not possible.
3. I can’t return the item.

Does its job
NO complaints, the battery is doing it’s job. Mine is connected to a travel trailer. I really wanted a true deep cell battery and this one is a hybrid.

Great deal – Shipping excellent!
After reading previous horror stories about damaged/no packaging I have to admit I was reluctant. I just bought 2 of these batteries. Wow! I am both relieved and impressed.

Great product, poor shipping

The battery came earlier than I expected and it works fantastic, but then I figured it would since I know so several people that use Optima. It would have been a five star rating but the shipping was poor, just like in the other orders on here

Optima – red – yellow – blue

Optima cells are expensive, we all know that and that is their one and only downfall. My order came with adapters so it would  fit my vehicle like a factory cell. From my experience I get more years out of an optima compared to an interstate by quite a lot, so there is a value proposition to boot. Just not being stuck from headlights left on is a life saver!

Optima Batteries 8004-003 34/78 RedTop Starting Battery
I now own two of them.The first one I purchased at Sears. Many people want a cheap replacement battery.I still have the first one and it’s still going strong after eight years.The one I purchased from Amazon a little over a year ago, is in my newer truck.The two things I like the most about these is:
1) They do not leak acid.
2) Will last up to three times longer then a standard battery.

Nice Looking & Excellent Battery
This is my 2nd Red Top- 1st still worked however I replaced it as a preventative measure. Gave the previous one  to someone who’s battery died. Optima is a sealed AGM battery with several high tech features and won’t leak.Anyone wanting a top-quality car battery, here it is! Looks great beneath the hood of my 68 Chevelle, with  the matching red cover!

Overall Flawless Battery
Awesome batteries, great power, very lightweight.Arguably the top features are there is no maintenance and zero CORROSION!I have a diesel truck and use these in pairs wired parallel. No batteries last really long in that application, but these have lasted a lot longer than Interstate, Motorcraft, etc. They didn’t last as long as claimed, but did go five plus years, instead of ~three years for conventional name brand batteries. I have the 34/78 dual terminal style to simplify the wire up to heavy accessories. Warranty ought to be serviceable most anywhere at an AutoZone, O’Reilly, etc.

Opitma batteries for Dodge Diesel

I purchased these batteries for my truck with the Diesel engine. 1 of the stock batteries split open on the negative post. The other was pretty close to splitting. Both batteries were leaking acid. I bought the Optima batteries based on my past experience with not having one leak acid, break, or clean corrosion around the posts. The new Optima batteries I got are working great and we’ll see how long they last.

Awesome Battery

Built well at a great price.
The charger works excellent. The holes for handle bar were to small for the screws that it came with, so I re-drilled to fit accordingly. The price is great considering the cheapest I found it locally was $220.00. So far had to use it four times and it worked like a champ. I would definitely recommend this to someone.

Does What I purchased if for
This charger lives up to the manufactures claims. We have a small family farm and have used it on tractors, trucks, cars, garden tractors and it works great!
Assembly was simple and it arrived flawless.
I’m completely happy with my purchase.

Schumacher SE-4022
Bought this battery charger to replace the one I bought in 1998. Does an excellent job of charging and boost charging battery for imediate starting of tractors and trucks. Only let down was that the old one was MADE IN THE USA and the new one was Made In Mexico. None the less a great product!
